1. Nature of the Service

The Mirror Project is an AI-powered symbolic reflection platform designed to encourage personal exploration, creativity, journaling, imagination, and self-reflection.

The Service draws inspiration from classical Tarot, mythology, philosophy, contemplative traditions, symbolic interpretation, and artificial intelligence.

The Service is provided solely as a tool for reflective inquiry and entertainment.

It is not intended to diagnose, predict, evaluate, or determine facts about your life, future, relationships, health, finances, career, or legal circumstances.

No content generated by the Service should be interpreted as factual, authoritative, or professionally validated advice.

2. No Professional Advice

The Mirror Project does not provide:

  • medical advice
  • psychological services
  • psychotherapy
  • counseling

Nothing contained within the Service establishes any professional-client relationship.

If you require medical, legal, financial, or mental health assistance, consult an appropriately qualified professional.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical or psychological emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. AI-Generated Content

The reflections generated by The Mirror Project are produced by artificial intelligence.

AI systems occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, fictional, or unexpected outputs.

The generated reflections should be viewed as symbolic narratives intended to stimulate thought and personal reflection.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI does not know objective truth.
  • AI responses are not facts.
  • AI responses are not predictions.
  • AI responses should never replace your own judgment.

You remain solely responsible for all decisions you make.

4. Personal Responsibility

You agree that your use of the Service is entirely voluntary.

You accept full responsibility for how you interpret and apply any information generated by the Service.

Bloom Factor Inc. shall not be responsible for decisions, actions, losses, consequences, or damages arising from your reliance on AI-generated reflections.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of the journal entries, uploaded images, and other content you submit.

You grant Bloom Factor Inc. a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and transmit your content solely for operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit.

9. Intellectual Property

10. Subscription Services

Certain features require a paid subscription.

Subscription fees are billed in advance using our third-party payment provider.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.

You may cancel renewal at any time through your account settings.

Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically generate refunds for billing periods already paid.

11. Refund Policy

Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable.

If a billing error occurs, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

12. Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

Features may change, be modified, suspended, or discontinued without prior notice.

We may update AI models, interfaces, pricing, or functionality at any time.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloom Factor Inc., its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us during the twelve months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) US $100.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations of liability. Where prohibited, these limitations apply only to the fullest extent allowed by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bloom Factor Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • your misuse of the Service
  • your violation of these Terms
  • your infringement of another person's rights
  • your unlawful conduct

15. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party providers including payment processors, AI providers, analytics services, authentication providers, and cloud infrastructure.

Bloom Factor Inc. is not responsible for the availability or practices of third-party services.

Your use of those services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

16. Copyright

If you believe copyrighted material has been improperly used within the Service, please contact us with sufficient information to investigate the matter.

We respect intellectual property rights and will respond appropriately to valid notices.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if:

  • these Terms are violated
  • fraudulent activity is suspected
  • the Service is abused
  • required by law

Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide additional rights that cannot be waived, those rights remain unaffected.

19. Arbitration

Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiations.

If the dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be submitted to confidential binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

You and Bloom Factor Inc. waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Where arbitration clauses are unenforceable under applicable law, disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of California.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bloom Factor Inc. regarding your use of the Service.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date and, where appropriate, notifying users through the Service.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
